Team Lead (CDI/DRG) (Manila) | Onsite

Work Setup/Shift: WFO / Night shift

Qualifications:

• Coding knowledge (ICD-10, HCPCS, Clinical codes and compliance, DRGs with MCCs and CCs)
• Certified coder is preferred but not required.
• Certifications and continuing education as required by clients CCDS (Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist) and/or CDIP (Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner)
• With at least 1 year Team Lead experience

Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of CDI/DRG specialists to ensure the accurate and efficient review and documentation of patient records.
• Monitor team performance on productivity, accuracy, and quality KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and provide guidance and feedback to team members.
  
• Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging team engagement, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
• Provide training and support for new team members and ensure they understand clinical documentation and coding guidelines, as well as U.S. healthcare reimbursement systems.
• Conduct one-on-one sessions and team meetings to address concerns, provide performance feedback, and promote professional development.
• Oversee and ensure accurate review of clinical documentation in medical records to support appropriate DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) assignments
