Job Title: Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full spectrum of accounting functions, including audit, tax, and secretarial matters, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, accruals, and provisions.
- Manage daily/weekly reconciliations with merchants, ensuring accuracy of underlying data and cash movements.
- Perform monthly profit and loss reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate capture of sales, purchases, and costs.
- Address audit, tax, and bank-related queries efficiently.
- Collaborate with the HQ finance team to ensure proper accounting of inter-company transactions.
- Support Group Finance and management in business decision-making, offering recommendations based on sound financial and business analysis.
- Drive improvements in financial controls and accounting procedures, ensuring full compliance with Philippine regulations and reporting standards.
- Ensure adherence to local financial compliance requirements, including VAT reporting, Corporate Income Tax, and other statutory obligations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a SEC-regulated finance or lending company.
- CPA qualification or experience with a Big 4 audit firm is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of government statutory requirements and regulations.
- Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or equivalent.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and solid database management skills.
- Experience with cloud accounting systems such as NetSuite is preferred.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and ownership.
- Fluent in both Filipino/Tagalog and English.
