Job Title: Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full spectrum of accounting functions, including audit, tax, and secretarial matters, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, accruals, and provisions.
  • Manage daily/weekly reconciliations with merchants, ensuring accuracy of underlying data and cash movements.
  • Perform monthly profit and loss reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate capture of sales, purchases, and costs.
  • Address audit, tax, and bank-related queries efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the HQ finance team to ensure proper accounting of inter-company transactions.
  • Support Group Finance and management in business decision-making, offering recommendations based on sound financial and business analysis.
  • Drive improvements in financial controls and accounting procedures, ensuring full compliance with Philippine regulations and reporting standards.
  • Ensure adherence to local financial compliance requirements, including VAT reporting, Corporate Income Tax, and other statutory obligations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a SEC-regulated finance or lending company.
  • CPA qualification or experience with a Big 4 audit firm is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of government statutory requirements and regulations.
  • Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or equivalent.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and solid database management skills.
  • Experience with cloud accounting systems such as NetSuite is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and ownership.
  • Fluent in both Filipino/Tagalog and English.
