A Salesforce Architect will act as a trusted advisor and leader who partners with business stakeholders and the US Revenue Operations team to design a vision and architecture for a solution to a business problem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately gather business requirements and design appropriate solution architecture for the Salesforce platform.
- Salesforce Subject Matter Expert Collaborate with internal and external partners for the definition, planning, modeling, governance, and implementation of Salesforce solutions.
- Provide Salesforce technical leadership for multiple, related application builds.
- Works in partnership with the Director of Sales Technology, Director of Project
- Management and the Salesforce Admin Team on ongoing project planning efforts including implementation schedule, resource requirements, and identify dependencies.
- Work with business stakeholders and the project team to help understand requirements, evaluate new features and architecture, develop a solution, or enhance existing solutions and help drive decisions.
- Identify and help resolve conflicts between business requirements and technical capabilities. Provide guidance to the Salesforce Admin team on how these conflicts can best be addressed and resolved.
- Works as the trusted advisor to the Director of Sales Technology and helps the company in the planning and development of a scalable and secure architecture on the Salesforce platform.
- Document system architecture and keep documentation up to date as changes are made.
- Provide as-needed technical advice/support for out-of-the-box Salesforce CPQ features and functions.
- Participate in change management activities (UAT, training, communications, online help, business readiness, etc.) supporting program rollouts in partnership with Sales
- Operations and other business operation teams.
- Effectively communicate both verbally and written at multiple levels in the organization.
- Build Revenue Operations team trust, respect, and strong cross-departmental relationships.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in - Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
- Being certified in computer languages that are pertinent to the role is an advantage.
- 10+ years of experience in delivering solutions for customers, which includes at least 5 years of experience in the Salesforce platform.
- 5+ years of experience in designing, architecting, and delivering solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Experience in designing and developing software components and having a strong Service Oriented Architecture and integration background within Salesforce.
- Proven experience in IT architecting solutions in multiple business domains
- Experience providing guidance to a team of developers/administrators to ensure the successful implementation of projects on the Salesforce platform.
- Experience in Salesforce (SFDC) CRM with end-to-end implementation
experience. - Integration experience, including integrations between different business systems and working with integration tools.
- Proficiency in programming using Salesforce SFDC, Force.com, JavaScript, and XML and their use in the development of CRM solutions.
- Strong experience with configuration, customization, programming with APEX APIs, APEX Triggers, LWC and implementing new instances of Salesforce.com from scratch.
- Strong practical deployment knowledge of LWC, Salesforce Configurations, APEX classes, APEX Web services, API, AppExchange Deployment, and Salesforce.com S-Controls.
- Experience in choosing suitable software, hardware and suggest integration methods.
- Help resolve technical problems as and when they arise.
- Carry out testing procedures to ensure systems are running smoothly.
- Ensure that systems satisfy quality standards and procedures.
- Good Anticipation and Problem-Solving skills.
- Ability to deal with pressure, prioritize, and manage time well.
- In-depth knowledge of quality standards, key design patterns large data volume limitations, and best practices.
- Must be amenable to working remotely (Occasional RTO 2-3 times a year for the client visits)
- Must have a stable and fast internet connection
- Amenable to working on night shift schedule
Certifications (Must have at least 3 of the certifications below):
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification
- Salesforce Applications Architect certification
- Salesforce Systems Architect certification
- Salesforce Technical Architect certification
- Salesforce CPQ certification
- Knowledge of integration technologies (ESB, ETL), Service Oriented
- Architecture (SOA) and middleware tools/applications (i.e.: MuleSoft, Jitterbit)
Other Skills:
- Experience with billing solutions and financial systems/ERPs such as Intacct.
- Electronic Signature Management (i.e.: DocuSign)
- Marketing Automation Platforms (i.e.: HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot)
