About the job IT Quality Assurance Specialist
Purpose of the Position:
- Responsible for fostering a quality culture within ITD ensuring quality in development up to the completion of all products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plans, executes, and oversees inspection and testing of the incoming and outgoing products or services to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables. 25%
- Provides support to operations and local quality function in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels as well as CSR, environmental, and health and safety goals/KPIs. 25%
- Analyzes and investigates product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements. 20%
- Responsible for developing and maintaining a complete quality assurance program for all ICT systems, applications, and infrastructure initiatives. 20%
- Provides documentation to ensure that processes, procedures, findings, and recommendations are properly disseminated and communicated. 10%
Scope and Limitations:
- Highly dependent on input provided by and cooperation of other ITD or non-ITD units
- Responsible for creating and maintaining the quality assurance processes and procedures based on policies and standards approved.
- Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing projects and systems to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables
- Carefully maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions
- Develop or update company complaint and inspection procedures to ensure capture and investigation, as well as proper documentation of complaint
- Monitor risk management procedures, and maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development
- Develop new standards for production and design, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all service lines
- Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of system development processes to ensure quality of system
- Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards
- Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits
- Devise procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
- Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
- Collect and compile statistical quality data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
- Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
- Performs other duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an I.T./ Computer Science or related Engineering or Technology Courses
- Must have at least three (3) years of exposure in System Development with a good understanding of system development methodology and standard
- Must be a good team player with a customer-oriented attitude and good oral/ written communication skills.

d. Database Software SQL Server, DB2, MySQL, others - Required Technical Skills (Midrange / Linux):

c. Basic Networking functions and capabilities
