Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for the end-to-end management and coordination definition, documentation and satisfactory completion of projects.
  • Ensures all PM processes from initiation, planning, execution, monitor & control to project closure (i.e. Kick off, PM plans, risk, control, project close out, etc.) are done. This includes proper monitor and control of project and change management.
  • Communicate regular project status, and financial review of assigned project/s.
  • Upon project closure, conducts proper handover of project for warranty and/or maintenance phase to Service Delivery Manager and/or Maintenance team
  • Maintains proper repository of project documents . Ensures adherence to IS09001 quality objectives set as well as project delivery life cycle.
  • Conducts regular cadence meetings for both internal and external customers/stakeholders as appropriate . Maintains proper and timely communication with all stakeholders.
  • Adhere and practice compliance to health and safety requirement of company, project requirements and applicable laws.
  • Ensure accurate financial forecasting and reporting of all NECPH's Projects - sales forecast, customers and suppliers' billings and payments, inventory turnovers, expense control and project profitability.
  • Ensure that the communication plan is properly executed throughout the whole lifecycle of the project.
  • Undertake consultation with stakeholders to ensure that objectives and requirements for the successful completion of each phase of the project are fully understood and will be delivered.
  • Organize all needed resources including procurement and manpower and provide effective leadership to the project team . Also take appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances .
  • Facilitate open communication and discussion between stakeholders , using feedback to assess and promote understanding of the need for future changes in services, products and systems.
  • Adhere to the Project Management Governance Guidelines of the company .
  • Other duties and responsibilities assigned as may be related to your role in the company

Requirements/Specifications/Competencies

  • Male or female, Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or other equivalent related courses
  • With at least ten (10) years work experience in Project Management (Waterfall and Agile)
  • With experience in IT Application Development and Infrastructure
  • Preferably with experience in Train Systems
  • Project management certification is an advantage - e.g. PMP, CAPM, PRINCE
  • Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in program/project management, portfolio management, systems development methodology
  • Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Customer/Partner Relationships, Product & Technology Expertise, Project Management, Strategic Insight
  • Knowledge and proven experience in Project Management Methodologies and Project Lifecycle
  • Experience in project management and/or service delivery with demonstrable experience in managing projects, budgets, staff and delivery across a variety of technologies and businesses
  • Good experience in project control strong budget, schedule, stakeholder, people, scope and change management skills
  • Proficient in all computer software and applications particularly in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Experience managing senior-level client relationships
  • Experience mentoring and coaching others.
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Has commitment to excellent customer service and the Companys Code of Ethics.
  • Must possess an above average general management skills, a self-starter, results-driven and can manage changes well.
  • Highly motivated, attentive to details, can keep confidential matters, and has the ability to coordinate multiple projects.
  • Must be highly organized, analytical and systematic individual.
  • Must have a sense of urgency and initiative to perform set duties even without instructions.
  • Can work under minimum supervision and able to cope up with pressures and deadlines.
  • Willing to work long hours.
