Job Summary:

Looking for candidates having In-depth SAP S/4 HANA platform experience across functions (Supply Chain & Operations, Finance) with expertise in one or multiple industries under Resources, Products, or CMT. Candidate must have pre-sales experience in SAP with solutioning, working on RFPs and building the narrative on proposals. Candidate must have proven client facing skills who can set the client discussion narratives with all levels of client business participants. From delivery perspective - candidate must have experience of executing and managing complex SAP transformation engagements.

The Job

Industry and Function Expertise:

  • Demonstrate industry focus through deep knowledge and expertise in one or more related industries. We serve clients in multiple industry sectors like Resources (Energy/Utilities/Chemicals), Manufacturing (Automotive/Life Science/Consumer Goods/Retail/High-Tech/Software/Semi-Conductors) etc.
  • Possess deep functional expertise that helps you have technology-agnostic business process conversations with senior client leadership. We are looking for expertise across all functions: Planning, Sales, Logistics, Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance and Controlling. 

Solution Architect:

  • Help clients realize value from transformation initiatives by understanding challenges, gleaning opportunities for improvements, identifying how SAP capabilities deliver value to business.
  • With a deep understanding of client context, opportunity context, industry context and business challenges, participate in building the overall narrative on proposals ensuring full coverage of client requirements and alignment to client-specific context.
  • Lead and work on pre-sales activities such as business assessment and roadmaps for clients, client advisory on S/4HANA led transformation to overcome clients business challenges
  • Bring the company's assets and offerings from multiple teams to differentiate proposal responses.
  • Take ownership of the delivery committed scope of work for the client.

Networking and Business Development:

  • Create and manage relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Support project and practice leadership in expanding opportunities with existing clients through proactive identification of pain points and innovative solutioning
  • Support practice leadership on identifying and solutioning for new business opportunities.
  • Lead the company's pursuits related to S/4HANA opportunities by bringing together experts and building responses to Requests for Proposals and/or Requests for Information.

Developing Thought Leadership and Assets:

  • Support/develop cutting edge Point of View (POV)/articles on bringing differentiation, Innovation to SAP led transformations.
  • Design and build assets that distinguish company's capabilities to drive additional business in SAP S/4 HANA

  • Ownership for the delivery of committed S&C-GN scope of work for our client.
  • Participate in building the overall narrative on proposals, ensure full coverage of client requirements and alignment to client-specific context.
  • Review solution plan and ensure deliverability of solution working with different solution architects across consulting and technology.
  • Transition into role with inputs on solution plan (scope, staffing, deliverables, RACI etc.) from all right stakeholders.
  • Secure resources based on skills, location and project deal financials. Ensure alignment with client, direct and lead the team to stay aligned with overall program.
  • Bring rigor into execution tightly controlling scope, monitoring deliverable progress, resource performance.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure client expectations are met.
  • Ensure profitable execution managing resource pyramid
  • Strong analytical and writing skills to build viewpoints on industry trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cross-cultural competence with an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to travel on a short notice.


Your experience counts:

  • 10+ years of experience in client-facing delivery role for SAP preferably in the resources, products, or CMT industry.
  • Extensive experience leading large scale SAP transformation and implementation or delivery programs for global clients.
  • Open to cross-country relocation.
