Role Summary:

We seek a Lead Azure DevOps Engineer responsible for implementing DevOps solutions in Azure. This role combines technical expertise, consulting, and client-facing responsibilities, overseeing solution development, delivery, and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consulting, successful technical implementations, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Play a vital role in designing and delivering innovative cloud solutions for clients

- Participate in technical planning, design, and project execution

- Collaborate with solution architects to support project efforts from a technical standpoint

- Implement designed solutions into client deliverables

- Support the design and deployment of client workloads within Azure

- Provide specialized technical support in four key areas:

- Datacenter Transformation

- Azure Infrastructure

- DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

- Cloud Automation

Qualifications:

- Over 5 years of experience in system administration (Windows and/or Linux), DevOps, software development, or IT operations and at least 4 years of leadership experience

- At least 3 years of project experience in cloud migration and deployment

- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, and Ansible (or similar tools)

- Practical experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (VSTS/TFS), Jenkins, Bamboo, or comparable tools

- Minimum 1 year of experience supporting Azure infrastructure and architectures (experience with AWS or GCP is also acceptable)

- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Groovy, etc.) for automation tasks, from any public cloud environment

- Knowledge of cloud deployment methodologies and emerging cloud technologies

- Skills in performance analysis, troubleshooting, and remediation

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication abilities

- Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently or within virtual team settings

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Skills, Certifications, & Experience:

- Experience with Chef, Puppet, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus

- Microsoft Certifications are advantageous
