Job Summary
This position is responsible for assisting (PMO Team) as assigned in the overall monitoring, control, and status reporting for projects, exercising project management tools, documentation, progress checks, and reporting to ensure the achievement of projects within budget and on time in line with company strategy and goals, and meeting required SLAs. This position is designated for engineers capable of handling organizational reporting with required frequencies, including Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly. The role emphasizes documentation and presentation aspects for the monitoring and control functions within the PMO section.
Job Duties
o Assist PMO Planners in the Day-to-day tasks and reports in terms Data gathering and reporting, achieving the required SLAs and Due dates.
o Review cost sheets for each project and provide findings to PMO Planners assigned.
o Assist the PMO Planners in reporting, status monitoring and follow up of projects.
o Handle escalated project status delays and coordinate with different parties to achieve speed in finalizing the project.
o Track projects deliverables using appropriate tools.
o Ensure all quality assurance measures are in place to achieve deliverables as per quality standards.
o Collect reports and present project progress, problems and solutions to the PMO Planners, and PMO Section Head.
o Anticipate and catch deviations from a plan or schedule early and keep all stakeholders informed.
o Exercise good judgment in whether tasks should be broken down into smaller detail or not.
o Generate many types of documents, including requirement specifications, schedules, personnel records, project reports, communication (email) records, design specifications, meeting agendas, minutes and status reports.
o Coordinate with other department to facilitate Internal Reporting and Issue resolution process.
Education: o BSc. In Mechanical, Electrical, Telecom, Computer Engineering or related. o PMP is Preferred.
Years of Experience o A minimum 3 Years experience in telecommunication/ISP or network operations industry project management or site deployment technical field.
