Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Guidance: Assist field teams with complex technical issues, providing diagnosis, solutions, and best practices.
  • Problem Solving: Lead field-based troubleshooting efforts, collaborating with experts to resolve critical network problems.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Review site acceptance documents, advise on planned maintenance schedules, and ensure infrastructure adherence to industry standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of optical transport, cable infrastructure, and power systems to optimize outcomes and drive efficiency.
  • Data Analysis: Interpret engineering drawings, create mathematical models, and manage project planning using software tools.
  • Technical Support: Provide direct support for cable placement, terminations, splicing, and various equipment maintenance tasks.
  • Network Performance: Diagnose and solve network failures, outages, and connectivity issues.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, prepare work reports, and fill out acceptance forms.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Collaborate across teams and with third parties to maintain quality standards and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Telecom Engineering (or related).
  • 2+ years' experience in Engineering, ISP, or Telecom Maintenance roles.
  • Strong understanding of applied mechanics, optical transmission, and network protocols.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve complex technical problems under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and quality standards preferred.
  • Familiarity with telecom equipment, data center operations, and network infrastructure a plus.
  • Availability for 24/7 on-call duties in case of urgent situations.
