Logistics director

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Director. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing the logistics operations of an e-commerce company with experience in First Mile, Linehaul, Last Mile Operation/Delivery, Fleet Operation, Inbound Logistics, Warehouse Management, Warehouse Accounting, and strong analytical skills using Excel and other data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies and plans to support the company's e-commerce business.
• Manage and optimize the company's supply chain, including First Mile, Linehaul, Last Mile Operation/Delivery, Fleet Operation, Inbound Logistics, and Warehouse Management
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of orders to customers.
• Manage the logistics budget and expenses.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures.
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers and other logistics providers.
• Supervise and manage the logistics staff.
• Use Excel and other data analysis tools to analyze logistics data and identify trends and opportunities.
• Provide recommendations to the company's management team on how to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a logistics management role, preferably in an e-commerce company
• Strong analytical skills using Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
