About the job Path Patroller Driver

Job Summary:

Patrol internet infrastructure, report issues, and support maintenance efforts.

Duties:

  • Drive and monitor roads for exposed manholes or improperly buried cables.
  • Alert Fiber maintenance team of Fiber Optic Cable (FOC) cuts.
  • Monitor GPS tracking of patrol routes.
  • Submit daily reports on excavation cases.
  • Coordinate between field maintenance and national project.
  • Use maps and tools to locate cable ends during network cuts.
  • Ensure network operations are unaffected by nearby maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clean driving record with valid traffic license.
  • 0-1 years of field work experience.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Risk management proficiency.

Knowledge:

  • Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email).
  • Experience with Tatabo3 GPS program.
  • Familiarity with GIS and Google Earth.
  • Basic understanding of OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer).
