About the job Path Patroller Driver
Job Summary:
Patrol internet infrastructure, report issues, and support maintenance efforts.
Duties:
- Drive and monitor roads for exposed manholes or improperly buried cables.
- Alert Fiber maintenance team of Fiber Optic Cable (FOC) cuts.
- Monitor GPS tracking of patrol routes.
- Submit daily reports on excavation cases.
- Coordinate between field maintenance and national project.
- Use maps and tools to locate cable ends during network cuts.
- Ensure network operations are unaffected by nearby maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clean driving record with valid traffic license.
- 0-1 years of field work experience.
Skills:
- Passionate, motivated, and creative.
- Customer service-oriented.
- Strong health and safety awareness.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Risk management proficiency.
Knowledge:
- Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email).
- Experience with Tatabo3 GPS program.
- Familiarity with GIS and Google Earth.
- Basic understanding of OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer).
