Job Summary:

Global Tek seeks a highly motivated and qualified HSE Engineer in Ninevah (Mosul) to play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environment (HSE) compliance of our operations. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining national and local HSE policies, procedures, and requirements, conducting HSE inspections, and promoting a culture of safety awareness within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE management systems.
  • Conduct HSE inspections of worksites, facilities, and equipment to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Promote continuous improvement in the company's HSE systems and programs.
  • Provide safety coaching and training to employees on safe work practices, emergency procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to HSE activities.
  • Participate and conduct safety meetings, training sessions, and pre-job safety analyses.
  • Analyze risks and conduct reliability studies to minimize potential hazards.
  • Investigate incidents and participate in the reporting process.
  • Review contractual documents to ensure alignment with HSE requirements.
  • Assist with layout definition and noise control activities.
  • Participate in the selection and procurement of fire protection and lifesaving equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field (B5C or equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: OSHA Certificate (mandatory).
