About the job Procurement Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our Supply Chain team!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the local purchase order process, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare technical specifications, terms and conditions, and evaluation criteria for purchases.
  • Monitor lead times, track order documents and approvals, and follow up on payments to suppliers.
  • Obtain competitive quotes on products and services by developing purchase documents and supplier lists.
  • Resolve supplier payment discrepancies and ensure efficient handling of transactions with clearing companies.
  • Maintain accurate records of goods ordered, received, and their import documentation.
  • Update systems with order status, shipping dates, and new arrivals.
  • Guarantee high-quality internal administration, filing, and traceability of all procurement activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative office role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
