About the job Procurement Officer
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our Supply Chain team!
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the local purchase order process, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Prepare technical specifications, terms and conditions, and evaluation criteria for purchases.
- Monitor lead times, track order documents and approvals, and follow up on payments to suppliers.
- Obtain competitive quotes on products and services by developing purchase documents and supplier lists.
- Resolve supplier payment discrepancies and ensure efficient handling of transactions with clearing companies.
- Maintain accurate records of goods ordered, received, and their import documentation.
- Update systems with order status, shipping dates, and new arrivals.
- Guarantee high-quality internal administration, filing, and traceability of all procurement activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative office role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
