DBA Engineer

Data Wizard Wanted: DBA Engineer to Manage Our Critical Databases!

Do you speak fluent SQL and dream in database structures? Are you passionate about data integrity, security, and performance? If so, we need you as a DBA Engineer!

In this role, you'll be the guardian of our data, overseeing the management, performance, and security of our SQL Server, Oracle, and Postgres databases. You'll collaborate with developers, optimize queries, create insightful reports and dashboards, and ensure our data is always reliable and secure.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, configure, and maintain critical database systems.
• Ensure database security, performance, and data integrity.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies for disaster preparedness.
• Work with developers on efficient database schema design.
• Fine-tune queries to optimize application performance.
• Develop reports, visualizations, and dashboards for data-driven decisions.
• Automate routine tasks and leverage data tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or a related field (5+ years of DBA experience preferred).
• Expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, and Postgres database systems.
• Strong backup, recovery, and query optimization skills.
• Experience with database security and compliance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus points for:

• Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance.
• Experience with scripting languages (SQL, Python, PowerShell) for automation.
