Job Summary
This position is responsible for handling the daily on-site tasks of the field technicians in terms of coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of deployment tasks assigned to ensure implementation requests are processed timely with the quality requested to achieve required SLAs.
Job Duties
- Coordinate daily on-site tasks for the team of field technicians deployed in the assigned region.
- Ensure timely and quality completion of all assigned tickets, meeting SLA requirements.
- Provide comprehensive on-site technical guidance to technicians throughout wiring connectivity phases.
- Maintain and balance accurate time attendance records to facilitate precise reporting.
- Handle primary review and approval of job expenses submitted by the team, forwarding them to the supervisor.
- Oversee safety protocols, and quality control measures, and provide constructive feedback to enhance workforce performance.
- Assist the FTTH & Fiber deployment manager in coordinating office and field task teams.
- Review daily task assignments for team members to optimize efficiency.
- Generate and send daily progress reports to the supervisor.
- Prepare monthly reports on technicians' performances.
- Follow up material requests within the deployment team and manage returns from governorates to the main warehouse.
- Demonstrate expertise in fiber optic technology including cable types, installation methods arial, underground, conduit), and testing procedures using equipment like OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer).
- Contribute to network design by understanding layouts and assisting in planning fiber optic deployments.
- Handle training and development initiatives by mentoring team members and identifying skill enhancement opportunities.
- Effectively manage the fiber optic technician team by assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Prioritize excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and proactively resolving issues to ensure project satisfaction.
