Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Officer ensures efficient inventory management by implementing control policies, maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, and handling item costing in the system. They ensure timely, accurate transactions between warehouses, track inventory discrepancies, and conduct regular stock audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement inventory control policies and procedures.
- Cost items based on internal usage and ensure accurate system entry.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Manage transactions between warehouses and inventory control.
- Oversee equipment transfers, stock counts, and item returns.
- Ensure timely delivery of items for internal use and follow up on receivables.
- Utilize Excel for monitoring, reporting, and data accuracy.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control.
