Job Summary:

As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention within the online marketplace platform. Your primary goal will be to enhance brand visibility, attract new users, and optimize customer satisfaction, contributing to the overall growth and success of the FMCG marketplace.

Job Duties:

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to drive user acquisition, conversion, and retention within the FMCG marketplace.

Conduct market research to understand target audience preferences, behaviors, and trends, using the insights to refine marketing strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with product development, user experience, and customer support initiatives.

Oversee the creation of compelling marketing content, including website copy, email campaigns, social media content, and promotional materials.

Manage digital advertising campaigns across various platforms, optimizing budgets and targeting to maximize ROI.

Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing data-driven optimizations.

Stay up-to-date with industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging trends in the FMCG marketplace space.

Identify and establish partnerships and collaborations with relevant influencers, brands, and organizations to expand the marketplace's reach and reputation.

Monitor and manage the online reputation of the marketplace, addressing customer feedback and ensuring a positive brand image.

Develop and manage customer loyalty programs and referral campaigns to foster a strong and engaged user community.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

Years of Experience:

at least 3-5 years of experience specifically in digital marketing

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of FMCG marketplaces, e-commerce, and digital marketing trends.
  • Proficiency in utilizing various digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, SEM, and content marketing.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze marketing metrics and KPIs to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders effectively.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to devise innovative marketing strategies.
  • Project management skills to handle multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of customer segmentation and targeting strategies to optimize marketing efforts.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM platforms.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the industry and technology landscape.

Knowledge:


  • In-depth knowledge of online marketplace dynamics, including buyer-seller interactions, transaction processes, and user behavior.
  • Understanding of key online marketplace metrics such as GMV (Gross Merchandise Volume), conversion rates, retention rates, and customer lifetime value (CLV).
  • Familiarity with online advertising platforms, data analytics tools, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Knowledge of branding principles and strategies to build a strong marketplace identity.
  • Understanding of relevant legal and regulatory considerations in the e-commerce and online marketplace space.
