Job Summary:
The HR Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the human resources function. This includes talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. The role requires strategic planning, leadership, and the ability to foster a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Talent Management:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Oversee the hiring process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
- Conduct workforce planning and succession planning.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, resolving conflicts professionally.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and promote employee engagement.
- Implement and manage employee feedback systems, including surveys.
Performance Management:
- Develop and oversee performance appraisal systems.
- Provide coaching and training to managers on performance management.
- Address underperformance and reward high performers effectively.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits packages.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and ensure pay equity.
- Manage employee benefits, such as health insurance and retirement plans.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and design professional development programs.
- Oversee leadership and team-building initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.
Compliance and Policies:
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Update and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and guidelines.
- Manage workplace safety and health programs.
HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Track HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, hiring time, and engagement).
- Prepare and present reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. (Masters degree preferred.)
- [5-7]+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
