The Solution Sales Engineer is responsible for achieving revenue targets and growth while maintaining high customer satisfaction. This role involves upselling and cross-selling, client visits, and developing tailored solutions that address client needs. The position specializes in technological and scientific advanced products, focusing on articulating the value proposition and demonstrating how the products or services can help clients achieve their objectives.

Job Duties

Prospecting:

  • Represent the company with a thorough understanding of our products and services.
  • Research market needs, particularly in the governmental sector, and align our solutions with these demands.
  • Lead product development through market research and competitor analysis, expanding the product portfolio.
  • Generate and nurture client relationships to achieve revenue growth.
  • Supply weekly prospecting reports detailing purpose, market intelligence, and actions.
  • Analyze and report feedback from key accounts to guide decision-making.
  • Prepare and arrange meetings and visits with potential clients.

Negotiation & Deal Closing:

  • Manage negotiations and deal closures from lead generation to finalization.
  • Utilize consultative selling skills and handle price negotiations, seeking advice on pricing strategies when needed.
  • Focus on achieving "win-win" outcomes, acting on buying signals and closing opportunities.
  • Provide clear explanations of product functionality and how it meets client demands.
  • Handle full sales processes, from lead to cash, and develop business use cases and demos.
  • Negotiate contracts and assist with proposal development, ensuring effective communication of technical requirements.
  • Monitor financial matters and coordinate with legal teams to close contracts and ensure adherence to policies.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate systems to clients and assist in selecting solutions that meet their needs.
  • Design solutions based on customer pain points and industry best practices.
  • Conduct business studies, ROI analyses, and market evaluations.
  • Observe and report on market and competitor activities to provide insights.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify growth opportunities and risks.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Years of Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in sales (outdoor or corporate).
