Inventory Control Team Leader Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of inventory management within a warehouse.
- Optimize inventory control processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead the inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce lead times.
- Monitor and analyze inventory performance metrics.
- Provide training on inventory management procedures.
- Recommend inventory cost control strategies.
- Supervise inventory transactions and stock levels.
- Lead projects to improve inventory management.
- Oversee stock counts and adjustments.
- Ensure accurate data entry and system usage.
- Generate inventory reports.
- Manage purchase orders and inventory levels.
- Execute strategies to minimize stockholdings.
- Oversee financial adjustments to inventory.
- Participate in team member selection, training, and evaluation.
- Ensure high-quality administration and documentation.
Qualifications:
- BA degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
- CMA or CSCP preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and understanding of inventory control processes.
- Managerial competencies (decision making, resource management, stakeholder relations, project management, automation, continuous improvement, adaptability).
- Job-related competencies (supply chain knowledge, change management, collaboration, reporting analytics, inventory management techniques, numerical literacy, problem-solving, accuracy, organization, time management, analytical thinking).
- Good command of English and Arabic (written and spoken).
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with large ERP systems.
- Good presentation skills.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of procurement, inventory control, logistics, distribution, process improvement, and cost reduction.
- Advanced experience in spreadsheet analysis and Excel analytics.
- Advanced experience in supply chain analytics and metrics.
