Job Summary:

As a Product Portfolio, Selection, and Pricing, you will be responsible for strategically curating, optimizing, and pricing the product offerings within our platform. Your role will involve analyzing market trends, identifying customer demands, collaborating with vendors, and setting competitive pricing strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute product portfolio strategies that align with business goals.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for product expansion.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure a diverse and high-quality product selection.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies based on market research, competitor analysis, and cost considerations to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor product performance, sales metrics, and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions for product optimization and selection adjustments.
  • Analyze pricing elasticity and adjust pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness while maximizing revenue.
  • Lead the development and execution of promotional campaigns, discounts, and bundling strategies to drive sales.
  • Work closely with data analytics teams to gather insights, generate reports, and make informed decisions regarding product assortment and pricing.
  • Collaborate with user experience (UX) teams to ensure the online marketplace presents an appealing and intuitive product selection and pricing structure.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

Years of Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, pricing strategy, or related roles in the e-commerce

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
  • Proficiency in pricing strategy development, including understanding of pricing models, elasticity, and optimization techniques.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Data-driven mindset, with experience using data analytics tools to inform decisions.
