Landscape Engineer

Job title: Landscape Engineer
Location: Baghdad-Airport Street (AUIB Project)

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage landscape staff (full-time, hourly and seasonal), to ensure the proper, efficient and timely completion of department responsibilities.
· Work in the field and sometimes in the office, providing hands-on completion of work as a mentor and an example for the rest of the team
· Managing the development of plans for new construction projects such as roads or residential subdivisions
· Planning, designing, and implementing landscaping projects, such as designing gardens, installing irrigation systems, or creating lawn mowing schedules
· Be responsible for the health of the landscape.
· Coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, government agencies, and other consultants as needed
· Estimating costs for materials needed for projects, and estimating the time required to complete projects
· Establishing and maintaining plants, trees, shrubs, and other vegetation in accordance with environmental regulations
· Developing plans for new construction projects such as roads or residential subdivisions
· Maintaining inventory of supplies, equipment, and machinery needed for work activities

Qualifications:
· Bachelor`s degree in Agricultural Engineering.
· A minimum of five years of related work experience.
· Understanding of irrigation systems operation and repair.
· Considerable knowledge of horticulture and grounds maintenance procedures.
· Proven knowledge of Microsoft office and landscape design software.
