Job Summary:

The

Inventory Control Manager, is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the company's warehouses and fulfillment centers. This role involves managing inventory, coordinating logistics, optimizing warehouse processes, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. The Inventory Control Manager plays a critical role in maintaining smooth operations and meeting customer satisfaction targets within the rapidly evolving environment of an internet marketplace

Job Duties:

Warehouse Operations Management: Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping, to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.

Inventory Control: Implement and maintain inventory control processes to track stock levels, minimize discrepancies, and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.

Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective inbound and outbound transportation of goods.

Team Management: Lead and motivate warehouse staff, set performance targets, provide training, and conduct regular performance evaluations to enhance team productivity and maintain a positive work environment.

Process Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, layout, and workflow to increase productivity and reduce operational costs.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and condition of products during receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.

Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations within the warehouse, promoting a safe work environment and adherence to safety standards.

Vendor Management: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to manage inbound and outbound shipments and resolve any issues related to inventory or shipments.

Technology Utilization: Utilize warehouse management systems and other relevant technologies to optimize inventory tracking, order processing, and warehouse efficiency.

Data Analysis: Analyze key performance metrics related to warehouse operations, identify trends, and propose improvements to enhance overall performance.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field is preferred. However, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Years of Experience

5 years of experience in warehouse management
