    Summary: This role involves providing technical guidance and support to field maintenance teams, ensuring understanding of technology specifications. Responsibilities include reviewing site documents, advising on maintenance schedules, and offering support in various technical areas such as optical transport and cable infrastructure. The position also involves troubleshooting network failures, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining accurate records.

    Key Duties:

    • Reviewing site acceptance documents and advising on points related to site acceptance.
    • Advising on planned maintenance schedules and adjusting hardware components.
    • Providing support on infrastructure maintenance standards.
    • Using technical expertise in optical transport, cable infrastructure, and wireless constructions.
    • Creating mathematical models for RF Communications distribution systems.
    • Providing technical support for cable placement, terminations, and splicing.
    • Diagnosing and solving technical problems.
    • Developing preventive maintenance schedules and performing preventive maintenance activities.
    • Troubleshooting network failures and outages.
    • Being available for 24x7 on-call in urgent cases.
    • Performing mechanical and/or fusion splicing of fiber optic cable.
    • Maintaining inventories of test equipment and transmitters.

    • Skills in reading and interpreting manuals, using diagnostic equipment, quality control, report writing, and numerical literacy.
