Job Title: Treasury Section Head

Summary:

This position oversees the treasury section, managing cash flow, banking relationships, collections, payments, and reconciliations. Responsibilities include daily cash operations, forecasting, reporting, managing staff, and adhering to policies and procedures.

Key Duties:

  • Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and invest excess funds.
  • Oversee daily cash movement, bank fees, and internal controls.
  • Develop and implement treasury policies and utilize new technologies.
  • Reconcile cash activities, forecast cash flow, and identify variances.
  • Process wire transfers, maintain bank accounts, and manage bank guarantees.
  • Approve transactions, prepare financial reports, and manage bank relationships.
  • Manage general ledger accounting for the section.
  • Participate in audits and prepare ad-hoc financial analyses.
  • Supervise treasury staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (CMA preferred).
  • 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and software.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Accuracy of account reconciliations and timely wire transfers.
  • Cash flow availability and adherence to deadlines.
  • Error rates and efficiency of cash management processes.
