Sr. Logistics Officer 

The Senior Logistics Officer oversees the management of the company's purchase orders transportation to warehouses, customers, and specified locations. Responsibilities include reviewing shipments, coordinating with carriers for timely pickups, monitoring shipment costs and productivity, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations by facilitating communication between manufacturing, customs clearance, and transportation stages. Additionally, they manage and monitor packing lists and shipments to ensure adherence to planned routes.

Job Duties:

  • Provide support to the Procurement team in customs clearance and transportation services.
  • Organize, document, archive, and administer departmental activities efficiently.
  • Maintain communication between Procurement, Warehouse, and other locations for supply chain efficiency.
  • Coordinate logistics and liaise with other departments.
  • Address logistical concerns related to local and international procurement purchases.
  • Dispatch shipments and follow up across multiple channels.
  • Coordinate transportation activities to ensure prompt movement of shipments.
  • Monitor routes, cargo movements, and customs clearance compliance.
  • Review purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy.
  • Report expenses related to logistics services.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the direct manager.

Education:

  • BSc degree in Business Administration or related field.

Years of Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in logistics or related field.
