The Fiber Deployment Team Leader will oversee and coordinate fiber optic installation and maintenance projects, ensuring timely and efficient deployment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage Deployment Team: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the fiber deployment team to ensure project goals are met efficiently and safely.
  • Project Planning: Develop and implement detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support for fiber optic installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company quality guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the deployment process.
  • Training and Development: Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in fiber optic technology.
    

    Qualifications:
    • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in fiber optic installation, with at least a year in a leadership or supervisory role.
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in fiber optic splicing, testing equipment, and network troubleshooting.
    • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of technicians.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical issues.
