AI Engineer - Big Entities
About the job AI Engineer - Big Entities
Our client Big Entities is looking for AI Engineer in Lahore.
Job Description:
About the Role
- We are migrating a large legacy reporting system to a modern web application. The development team already has a Fullstack Developer in place. We now need an AI Engineer to build and manage the AI-powered automation layer that speeds up the migration.
- This person will design the pipeline that takes old system components, analyses them using AI, generates modern code, runs automated checks, and delivers the output to the developer for review. The goal is to reduce manual migration effort by 70–85% on routine components.
What You Will Do
- Design and build the AI migration pipeline — from ingesting old system components to delivering generated code for review
- Write and maintain the prompt template library used to convert legacy components into modern code
- Configure and connect AI coding tools — Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude — into the team's daily workflow
- Build the automated quality check layer — AI-generated tests that run before any output reaches the developer
- Connect the pipeline to the version control system — auto-create branches, pull requests, and AI-written summaries
- Monitor output quality and improve prompts as the migration progresses
- Work closely with the Fullstack Developer — your output feeds their review queue
Must Have
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs — OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Azure OpenAI — not just using ChatGPT
- Prompt engineering experience at a production level — building structured, reusable prompts for consistent output
- Experience with AI agent frameworks — LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar
- Python proficiency — most AI tooling is Python-first
Azure AI services — Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, or equivalent - Ability to build automated workflows — not just chatbots — end-to-end pipelines
Good to Have
- Familiarity with .NET or Angular — enough to judge whether AI-generated code looks correct
- Experience with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) — for building a migration knowledge base
- Azure DevOps experience — pipelines, pull requests, build automation
- Experience analysing or parsing source code programmatically
