Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of innovative architectural designs from concept through completion.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into design elements.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of architects and junior designers, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality output.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
  • Prepare and present detailed architectural plans, drawings, and 3D renderings.
  • Ensure all architectural work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to achieve project goals.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within financial constraints.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an architect, particularly in a senior or lead role, with a minimum of 6-10 years in the field.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in design and successful execution of diverse architecture projects.
  • Proficiency in architecture design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Licensed architect with recognized architectural body is preferred.
  • Professional certification in specific architectural domains will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a design team.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time, in-person position requiring onsite presence with occasional visits to project sites.
  • Ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environment.
  • May include occasional travel based on project needs.
