Position Overview:

We're seeking a talented Backend Developer with 2 to 3 years of experience and expertise in PHP to join our growing team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our cutting-edge mental health platform. You'll work closely with fellow team members and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that enhance the user experience and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs using PHP and related technologies.
  
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with backend services and ensure seamless user experiences.
  
• Work closely with the team to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans.
  
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
  
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities in the backend infrastructure.
  
• Implement automated tests and participate in testing activities to ensure the reliability and stability of the platform.
  
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in backend development and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  
• 2 to 3 years proven experience in backend development using PHP, with strong knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Codeigniter or Symfony.
  
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience building and consuming APIs.
  
• Proficiency in database design and SQL, with experience working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
