About the job Sales Supervisor
The Sales Supervisor is responsible for building, coaching, and leading a team of Sales Executives to achieve the fleet acquisition targets assigned to this territory. The role is field-intensive, most working time is spent alongside Sales Executives on client visits, deal coaching, and pipeline management.
Cairo is the highest revenue region in the WAQOOD plan and carries the largest single team target. The market has the most addressable corporate clients across more than five sectors.
Market and Sector Focus
- FMCG and food distribution: the majority target mid-size distributors and manufacturers with 50-300 vehicles of vehicle fleets.
- Logistics and transport, e-commerce logistics, last-mile delivery, freight forwarders.
- Industrial and construction: factory fleets and construction contractors.
- Pharmaceutical and healthcare: medical representatives and distribution fleets.
- Tourism and services: travel agencies, hotel chains, and corporate service fleets.
Core Responsibilities
- Onboard and train each new sales executive in product knowledge, sales methodology, objection handling, and CRM discipline.
- Provide mentorship to the team, ensuring they stay motivated and focused on their goals.
- Translate sales strategy into specific, actionable weekly and monthly targets.
- Monitor the sales funnel in the CRM to identify bottlenecks and ensure a consistent pipeline at every stage.
- Conduct regular ride-along and field visits with sales executives to observe pitches and provide immediate constructive feedback.
- Take the lead in negotiating and closing high-value contracts with corporate fleets.
- Deliver accurate weekly activity reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager.
- Design and implement performance improvement plans and incentive schemes to drive underperforming team members toward targets.
- Conduct weekly individual pipeline reviews with each sales executive; track deal stages, identifying stuck deals, coaching on next actions period.
- Submit a weekly report to the Sales and Marketing Manager covering vehicles onboard last week, active pipeline with expected close dates, blocked deals, and any market intelligence.
Required Profile
- Minimum 5 years in B2B sales in Egypt, with at least 2 years managing a sales team.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets as a team leader, not only as an individual contributor.
- Experience selling to corporate clients in Egypt, understanding of Egyptian procurement processes, decision-making hierarchies, and relationship-based selling.
- Comfortable with numbers, able to read a pipeline report, calculate conversion rates, and identify performance trends without being told what to look for.
- Must own a reliable car for field visits, ride-along, and client meetings.
Preferred Profile
- Proven B2B sales experience in fintech, fleet management, fuel card programs, fleet payment solutions, logistics, SaaS, or financial services. Experience selling technology-based solutions to corporate customers is highly preferred.
- Existing relationships with decision makers in the Cairo corporate market, warm introductions that can accelerate the first 90 days.
- Experience building a sales team from zero, not an established team.
