About the job R2R Section Head
Job Summary:
The R2R Section Head is responsible for leading and overseeing all activities related to the Record to Report (R2R) process, including general ledger accounting, period-end close, fixed assets, intercompany, and reporting. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and corporate policies, while continuously improving the efficiency and accuracy of the R2R process. The R2R Section Head also manages a team of accountants and analysts and acts as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
Job Responsibilities :
- Approve and post JEs.
- Ensure accuracy of TBs and reviews.
- Check and monitor month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare closing schedules.
- Manages accrual process.
- Responsible for opening and closing of accounting periods.
- Additional responsibilities might be assigned according to business need.
Supervisory Responsibilities in Cooperation with the FSSC Leader:
- Hire and train new employees.
- Coach and develop existing employees.
- Conduct timely performance evaluations, monitor performance, initiate action to strengthen results, and deal with performance problems.
- Support problem resolution and decision-making.
- Responsible for objectives planning and goal setting by translating corporate goals into functional and individual goals.
Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).

CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification (preferred).
Experience:
10+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of R2R processes and financial reporting standards.

Experience in a shared services or multinational environment is a plus.
Skills:

Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and financial tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, BlackLine).

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
