Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Senior Manager to join our team at TAQA Arabia. The Procurement Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies that align with the company's goals and objectives

- Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, bidding, negotiating, and contracting with suppliers

- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and conditions for contracts

- Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities

- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services

- Oversee the procurement budget and ensure cost-effective purchasing practices

- Develop and maintain a supplier database and evaluate supplier performance regularly

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

- Lead a team of procurement professionals and provide guidance and support as needed

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management

- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field

- 10+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a managerial role

- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supply chain management

- Proven track record of cost savings and supplier relationship management

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software systems

- Familiarity with local and international procurement laws and regulations.
