Senior PV O&M Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a PV O&M Engineer located in Cairo, Egypt. The PV O&M Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, communication with stakeholders, and ensuring the efficient operation of solar PV projects. The role will involve working on-site to oversee the maintenance and operation of solar PV systems to maximize energy production and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of solar power plants, including PV modules, inverters, and other equipment

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring minimal downtime

- Monitor performance and output of solar power plants, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions

- Develop and maintain O&M schedules and procedures

- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for any necessary repairs or replacements

- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations

- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance

- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in PV O&M

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance skills
• Strong Communication skills
• 3-5 years of Experience in PV O&M Engineering
• Knowledge of Maintenance Management practices
• Professional certification in relevant field
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Renewable Engineering or related field
