Job Requirements:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FP&A Section Head to join our Finance team at TAQA Power.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function, providing accurate insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to support the companys decision-making and growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts across all departments.
  • Consolidate business unit financials and ensure alignment with company strategic goals.
  • Analyze actual results versus budget and forecast, identifying key variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial performance reports to management.
  • Support senior management with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and investment evaluations.
  • Partner with different departments to enhance cost control and operational efficiency.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on key financial KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Ensure financial reports comply with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor the FP&A team, promoting continuous improvement and analytical excellence.
  • Coordinate closely with accounting, treasury, and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • +5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in the power, energy, or utilities sector.
  • Professional certification such as CMA, CPA, or MBA is an advantage.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting skills, 

    Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and present complex financial information clearly.
  • Strong leadership skills with a high degree of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
