About the job EV Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electric vehicle charging infrastructure projects, including planning, installation, and maintenance.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify potential opportunities for EV expansion in the Egyptian market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement EV strategies and initiatives.
- Build a strong network of external relationships throughout the EV ecosystem. This will include suppliers, consultants, analysts, utilities, and other stakeholders in the EV infrastructure and charging industry.
- Research business and customer experience opportunities that may enhance the charging and energy strategy/portfolio.
- Engage on the insights, analyses, challenges including building clear presentations and present clearly with confidence to key decision-makers.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in EV technology and regulations and make recommendations for their integration into our operations.
- Monitor and report on the performance and efficiency of our EV operations.
- Provide technical support and training to team members and other departments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations related to EV operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy or a related field.
- 0-2 Years of experience in electric vehicle technology, preferably in a project management or engineering role.
- Strong understanding of EV charging infrastructure, including different charging standards and protocols.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
- Knowledge of local regulations and standards related to EV operations is a plus.
