Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Engineer to join our Power Generation Technical Office team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for electrical engineering and a strong desire to grow their career in the power generation sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Design Support:

Assist in the development of detailed electrical design drawings and schematics using AutoCAD and other relevant software.

Review and modify electrical drawings based on project requirements and feedback from senior engineers.

Prepare and update single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.

Technical Documentation:

Organize, maintain, and update technical documents, including design specifications, calculations, and test reports.

Ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and easily accessible for project team members.

Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Project Coordination:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, civil engineers, and project managers, to ensure the smooth execution of projects.

Track project progress, manage timelines, and report any delays or issues to senior engineers.

Participate in project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Ensure that all electrical designs and installations meet industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality requirements.

Assist in the preparation of quality control plans and checklists for electrical components and systems.

Conduct quality inspections and tests on electrical equipment and installations as needed.

Procurement Support:

Assist in the preparation of technical specifications for electrical equipment and materials.

Support the procurement team by reviewing supplier quotations and ensuring that they meet project requirements.

Track and manage the delivery of electrical equipment and materials to the project site.

Site Support:

Provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases of projects, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Conduct site visits to gather data, verify installations, and ensure compliance with design specifications.

Prepare site inspection reports and document any deviations or issues encountered.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest developments in electrical engineering and power generation technologies.

Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Suggest improvements to existing processes and practices to enhance efficiency and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

0-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the power generation sector.

Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must.

Proficiency in Microsoft project or equivalent is a must.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage and organize paper documents effectively.

Basic understanding of electrical systems and power generation principles.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Basic knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes.
