Senior Metering Engineer

Job Summary:
TAQA Power is seeking a highly skilled Senior Metering Engineer to handle the installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and reporting of water metering systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, field experience, and the ability to support both operational teams and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair water meters and related systems, including AMR/AMI devices.

• Conduct regular inspections and perform meter calibration to ensure accuracy.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to metering performance, leaks, and data irregularities.

• Analyze and interpret meter readings and system data for reporting and operational planning.

• Prepare reports related to meter performance, site assessments, and corrective actions.

• Provide technical support and training to internal teams and external clients.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance schedules, calibration logs, and SOPs.

• Conduct site visits to assess requirements and prepare technical reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.

• 3+ years of experience in water metering systems.

• Strong technical understanding of metering technologies, calibration tools, and related software.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and reporting skills.

• Ability to work outdoors and perform site-based physical tasks.

• Knowledge of safety procedures and fieldwork protocols.
