Job Title: Regional HR Generalist

Job Summary

The Regional HR Generalist is responsible for supporting and executing HR strategies across multiple countries or regional offices. The role manages regional recruitment, organizational development initiatives, and compensation & benefits programs while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and alignment with company HR policies. The position partners closely with regional leadership to strengthen workforce capability, improve employee engagement, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Regional Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple countries in the region.

  • Partner with hiring managers to identify workforce needs and implement hiring strategies.

  • Source, screen, and coordinate interviews for regional candidates.

  • Develop and maintain regional talent pipelines for critical roles.

  • Ensure recruitment processes comply with company policies and local labor regulations.

2. Organizational Development (OD)

  • Support organizational development strategies and workforce planning initiatives.

  • Assist in talent management and succession planning programs across the region.

  • Identify capability gaps and collaborate with leadership to implement development programs.

  • Support change management initiatives related to restructuring, growth, or transformation.

  • Implement employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.

3. Compensation & Benefits

  • Support implementation and administration of regional compensation and benefits programs.

  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis.

  • Coordinate annual salary reviews, promotions, and bonus cycles.

  • Monitor benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance across countries.

  • Work with finance and leadership on cost-effective compensation strategies.

4. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies across regional offices.

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and employment regulations.

  • Provide HR guidance to managers on employee relations issues.

  • Maintain HR data accuracy and prepare regional workforce reports.

  • Collaborate with global HR and local teams to ensure alignment.

Recruitment KPIs

  • Time to Fill: Average number of days to close regional vacancies (target: 30–45 days depending on role level).

  • Quality of Hire: Performance rating of new hires after 6–12 months.

  • Offer Acceptance Rate: Percentage of accepted job offers (target: >85%).

  • Recruitment SLA Compliance: Percentage of roles filled within agreed timelines.

Organizational Development KPIs

  • Employee Engagement Score: Improvement in engagement survey results across the region.

  • Internal Mobility Rate: Percentage of roles filled through internal promotions or transfers.

  • Training Effectiveness: Post-training performance improvement or feedback scores.

  • Succession Coverage: Percentage of key roles with identified successors.

Compensation & Benefits KPIs

  • Salary Benchmark Alignment: Percentage of roles aligned with market benchmarks.

  • Compensation Cycle Accuracy: Error-free payroll adjustments and salary review implementation.

  • Benefits Utilization Rate: Employee participation and satisfaction with benefits programs.

  • Compensation Budget Adherence: Salary increases managed within approved budget.

HR Operations & Compliance KPIs

  • Policy Compliance Rate: Adherence to HR policies and regulatory requirements.

  • HR Case Resolution Time: Average time to resolve employee relations issues.

  • HR Data Accuracy: Accuracy rate of HRIS data and reporting (>98%).

  • Employee Retention Rate: Reduction in voluntary turnover across the region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 4– 6 years of HR experience, preferably within a regional or multinational environment.

  • Experience in regional recruitment, organizational development, and compensation & benefits.

  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR practices across multiple countries.
