Job Summary:

The Delivery Lead Section Head will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of multiple technology change projects within the bank. This role involves overseeing a team of developers, managing vendors, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and experience in managing complex delivery processes, particularly in CRM or D365 Customer Engagement environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development:

    • Lead and manage a development team of at least 10 technologists, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
    • Oversee day-to-day operations, resource allocation, and skill development to ensure team efficiency and project success.
  • Project Delivery Management:

    • Drive the successful delivery of multiple technology change projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet quality, time, and budget goals.
    • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure alignment on project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Oversee project timelines, milestones, and risks, proactively addressing issues to keep projects on track.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

    • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring smooth coordination and delivery of outsourced components.
    • Work closely with business, IT, and other stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Technology Expertise & Implementation:

    • Provide technical leadership in the delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
    • Lead the implementation of CRM solutions, particularly with D365 Customer Engagement, ensuring system integrations are seamless and functional.
  • Process Improvement & Reporting:

    • Establish and enforce delivery best practices and standards across the team.
    • Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, risks, and issues, ensuring timely escalation of critical matters.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 15 years in technical development roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
    • Proven experience leading teams of 10+ people and managing the delivery of multiple technology change projects simultaneously.
    • Strong experience in vendor management and coordinating with both internal and external teams to drive delivery success.
    • Experience in CRM implementations is ideal, with a preference for candidates with experience in D365 Customer Engagement.
    • Experience working in banking or large-scale waterfall delivery environments is highly preferred.
  • Leadership Skills:

    • Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing and mentoring development teams.
    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in technical development and delivery processes.
    • Knowledge of CRM technologies, particularly D365 Customer Engagement, is a plus.
    • Understanding of waterfall project management methodologies, with experience in large-scale delivery projects.
  • Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
    • Advanced certifications or degrees (e.g., MBA, PMP) are a plus.
