BUSINESS/ FUNCTION PURPOSE FOR POSITION

Hotel General Manager always, being self-managed, with attention to detail and a sense of urgency
Strict daily control of financial transactions and daily revenues
Clearly demonstrate in action and word and will to execute the code of conduct of STC/CSH
At all-time 24/7/365 be contactable on the phone in case of emergencies
Adhere to all Finance and Company standard policies and procedures at all times
Stop Work Authority If ANY employee/managers and/or colleagues ask you to deviate from the code of
conduct and/or safety policies & procedures
No CSH staff are allowed in any F&B outlets off duty unless approved by HGM on a case-by-case basis
Only GGM, HGMs, and corporate senior management team are allowed to use outlets independently as per
policy. No credits are given to anybody All pay for their own drink and food and get reimbursed according
to policy in case they are entitled.
To provide direct leadership, expertise, coaching, and direction to the department heads and managers of
the business units to ensure all targets are met in a professional and timely manner whilst ensuring strategic
direction is achieved or exceeds expectations.

PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
Formal Qualifications

  • Strong hotel background with both rooms division and food & beverage experience.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business Management major post-graduate preferred, equivalent, or higher.
  • Must have min 3 years of relevant hotel industry experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Skills/ Functional Competencies

  • Strong relationship management and reporting skills
  • Computer literate
  • Interpersonal skills communication & customer service skills.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP and HSSE

Experience

  • Leading and inspiring teams
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of work experience in the Hospitality Industry
  • Flexible and can work night and early morning shifts
