Director of Nursing – Surgical Services

Position Overview

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Nursing – Surgical Services to lead perioperative operations in Benton, Arkansas. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing surgical services including Pre-Op, PACU, and procedural areas, ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and staff engagement.

The Director will collaborate closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and executive teams to optimize surgical workflows, improve patient outcomes, and drive performance across key operational metrics. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from approximately $100,000 to $150,000 annually based on experience and the opportunity to lead a critical service line within a growing healthcare organization.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Director-level role.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative services, including Pre-Op, PACU, Post-Op, Gastroenterology, and Surgical Services.
• Proven leadership experience managing clinical teams and driving operational performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MSN, Healthcare Administration, or MBA) strongly preferred.
• Experience managing 60 or more full-time employees (FTEs).
• Strong background in acute care hospital settings.
