Position Overview

Were hiring a Director of Nursing to lead a high-performing Operating Room team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned perioperative nurse who thrives in a complex surgical setting and has a track record of overseeing robotics programs and high-volume OR environments. You'll manage operations, support surgical excellence, and drive innovation across a department performing 600+ surgical cases monthly.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited institution (candidates must be enrolled in a BSN program if not already completed)

  • Current RN license valid in New Mexico or acceptable by the State Board of Nursing

  • BLS certification (required within 14 days of hire)

  • Minimum five years of clinical nursing experience, with at least two to three years in a management capacity

  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage complex, fast-paced surgical services with a focus on safety and performance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field

  • Certification in a clinical specialty or nursing administration

  • Prior experience running a robotics program in a high-acuity OR setting

The ideal candidate brings five or more years of leadership experience in the operating room, with proven success managing robot-assisted surgical programs and supporting 600+ annual surgical cases.
