Director – Emergency Services

Position Overview

Were seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Emergency Services to lead the strategic, clinical, and operational functions of a fast-paced emergency department in Las Cruces, New Mexico. In this senior leadership role, you'll oversee ED performance, manage clinical teams, and drive quality-focused initiatives to ensure exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Current (or eligible) New Mexico RN license

• Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required

• Seven years of healthcare experience, with at least three years in a leadership role

• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing clinical teams

• Knowledge of emergency department operations, patient safety standards, and regulatory compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, MBA, or related field

• Experience in a for-profit hospital environment

• Background in building quality-focused teams and improving departmental metrics

• Experience facilitating collaboration between hospital departments and provider groups
