Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join a dedicated womens health team in Anchorage, AK. This role focuses on providing safe, high-quality care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth experiencefrom admission through delivery and postpartum recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
Monitor fetal and maternal status and respond to complications as needed
Administer medications and assist in obstetric procedures
Support and educate patients and families throughout the birthing process
Document care and assessments accurately in accordance with hospital standards

Required Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program
BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire
Alaska RN license upon hire
NRP certification (AAP) within 90 days of hire
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
