Echocardiograph Technologist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Echocardiograph Technologist to join a respected healthcare team in Mission Viejo, CA on a part-time, day shift basis. In this role, you will perform high-quality echocardiographic studies across a diverse patient population, including neonatal and pediatric cases. This position is ideal for a technologist with strong clinical expertise and a passion for cardiac imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform echocardiograms in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis
Conduct both adult and pediatric echocardiographic studies, including neonates
Document findings and maintain detailed records in compliance with hospital policies
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient care

Required Qualifications:

Education sufficient to meet certification, license, or registration requirements
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or certification through CCI upon hire
BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire
2 years of experience in an acute care hospital
1 year of neonatal and pediatric experience with a minimum of 150 supervised pediatric echoes

Preferred Qualifications:

RDCS in Pediatrics (upon hire)
