Job Overview:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical to join our team at Kodiak Alaska Medical Center. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions. Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care in a Medical-Surgical unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and implement individualized care plans.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-hospital care.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and best practices in patient care.
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) License upon hire.
BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a hospital-based Medical-Surgical unit.
