Registered Nurse PACU

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) PACU to join our team at Clovis Community Medical Center in Clovis, CA. This role is vital in providing high-quality post-anesthesia care, ensuring patient safety and comfort during the immediate post-surgical recovery phase. The ideal candidate will have ICU or Emergency Department experience, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, monitor, and manage patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.
Administer medications, pain management interventions, and post-operative care.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal recovery.
Maintain airway management, hemodynamic stability, and patient comfort post-surgery.
Educate patients and families on post-surgical care and discharge instructions.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Title 22 & 16 regulations, and ANA nursing standards.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Current BLS & ACLS certification (ACLS required within 6 months of hire).
PALS certification required within 6 months of hire.
Minimum of 1 year ICU or Emergency Department experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
PACU or Perioperative nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
