Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Pharmacy Manager to oversee operations at a community-based pharmacy in Junction, TX. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing workflow, supervising pharmacy staff, and enhancing patient care services while driving growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the pharmacy including staffing, inventory, compliance, and customer service
Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations and pharmacy practice standards
Oversee medication dispensing, immunizations, and patient education initiatives
Develop and implement strategies to support pharmacy growth and efficiency
Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and internal teams to ensure quality service delivery
Maintain documentation, reporting, and policy compliance
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science or PharmD in Pharmacy from an accredited university
Current pharmacist licensure in accordance with federal and Texas state regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
3 years of pharmacy experience
Previous pharmacy management experience (retail setting preferred)
Knowledge of 340B programs is a bonus
Immunization certification and experience administering vaccinations
Strong planning, communication, and customer service skills
