Registered Nurse Outpatient Hematology/Oncology

Job Overview:
We are hiring a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient Hematology/Oncology team in Seattle, WA. This role supports patients undergoing cancer treatment in a clinic setting, providing safe and expert care throughout the chemotherapy and immunotherapy process while working closely with a multidisciplinary oncology team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to hematology and oncology patients in an outpatient setting
Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy agents in accordance with safety protocols
Monitor patient responses, assess for side effects, and initiate appropriate interventions
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all compliance and safety standards

Required Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Washington RN license upon hire
BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire
Completion of Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration course within 90 days of hire (specific to clinic requirements)
Minimum of 1 year of oncology nursing experience
